A Little More on Lighthouses.

A Little more on Lighthouses.
Friday 31st October 2014.
(Happy Halloween to you people who party on this occasion!)

I love the image of the lighthouse (and the pic in my last blog). I also know many people relate to the significance of a light house and its possible connotations and interpretations spiritually.
Here are a few words from an excellent dream book: The Complete Book of Dreams and Dreaming by Pamela Ball. In her book, she gives 3 types of interpretations for the reader which is what I love about the book. The first is its usual or conventional interpretation. The second looks at it more from a psychological view or as a physical object. The third is a more spiritual or esoteric meaning.

“Lighthouse.
1.     A lighthouse is a warning system, and in dreams it tends to warn us of emotional difficulties. It will depend on whether we are aware in the dream of being on land or at sea. If we are on land we are being warned of difficulties to come, probably from our own emotions. If we are at sea we need to be careful not to create misunderstandings for ourselves by ignoring problems.
2.    A lighthouse can act as a beacon and can lead us into calmer waters. It can often have this significance in dreams whether emotionally or spiritually.
3.    Spiritually a lighthouse highlights the correct course of action to help us achieve our
spiritual goals.  “
Thank you Pamela.

So, interestingly, these different angles of understanding lighthouses may occur for you at different times.

And for me , lighthouses are everpresent beacons of hope that shine through the darkness, depicting rescue and imminent landfall nearby for any weary or wayward sailors at sea! And catch your eye for whatever reason to make you perhaps sit up and pay attention.

Be well and intuitively alert on The Universal Journey Dear Ones!
