More Than Just Stormy Weather.

Greetings Lovely People on The Universal Journey!
Well, if you are on the eastern side of Australia at the
moment, we are being surrounded by stormy weather.
I just love
electrical storms. (Not the damage they can cause of course, but more on that
later). They are so vitalising and ‘recharging’! I love to stand under the patio
awning and watch the storms roll over the top of the nearby hills; smell their
own life-force energy and be ‘immersed’ in their magical electrical charged
power – it revitalises me and , perhaps strangely, grounds me too. I can sense
my electromagnetic field resonating with that of the surrounding atmosphere –
imagining the body’s electric field, halo or aura being charged as it is being
done similarly to the surrounding external atmosphere, by the lightning and
thunder storm.
I am definitely not advocating
that everyone do this or feels the same way about these natural forces. I know
people can also be a bit afraid of them due to their unpredictability and their
ferociousness, or from past experiences in them. So it is only natural that
there be some conscious care taken around and in stormy weather. But imagine how, after the recent and current firestorms have rampaged across the country too, that this weather brings a new vitality and 'seeds', energetically and nourishingly, the areas for new growth and re-vegetation.
But I have always loved electrical storms and that has only grown as I
grew further into working with the varying elements of Nature.
So along with this weather of course, have come turbulences of
other kinds. As they say, the wind stirs up the animals, so the storms can stir
up things as well; they can draw out and expose things that may have been hidden. And
due to the strong energetic nature of them, there are many personal issues that can
arise from their presence. So with that in mind, that is also why I find their re-charging
power so effective at times – to help get through that very stormy personal
weather that they may bring.
But also, it is the deep calmness underlying any of your right
actions that is most powerful. Like that deep gentleness I wrote of in a past
blog entry (Real Strength) the deep calm is most gentle and strengthening for
us. And during these more turbulent and unpredictable times, take more regular
short periods to stop and breathe deeply, re-aim your gaze to within you and
re-focus regularly so that any of your energy thoughts and attachments don’t
get too out of hand and deplete your own energy reserves. Remain grounded by
doing this too. That helps you find stamina to continue and remain connected to
that deep calm within, that will carry you along smoothly.
Does this make sense to you? Meditate or ponder on that a
little. And you may find it is easier at some times than others, or easier said
than done. But conscious practice of this and your meaningful intent is what matters.
The destructive power of these storms is more at the forefront
of people’s minds when they arrive of course. That is only natural. But it is
also about remembering that Mother Nature has a purpose for delivering these.
They are cleansing and rejuvenating. They re-arrange the surface of her planet and
its atmosphere as is necessary, apart from our limited view of the bigger
picture as to how She needs to become evolved and restore her own balance across the globe. We are but a
part of that evolution and can only try to lift ourselves above the close range
of effect that we witness or experience, to what may become of the world at
large.
We are but humble participants in the earthly changes and
throes of Nature as Gaia shifts and changes, leading us to shift and change
also, as such interconnected beings we all are with Her and with all things.
